Re: Gun Rack
Back when I was in High School the guys who had trucks at school had these racks with a .22 rifle or .410 shogun in the back window. Can you imagine someone doing that these days and going prison for it. Thinks are not getting better, but getting worse.

Re: Gun Rack
i took a shotgun to school on the bus (in a case), put it in my locker all day. then took a different bus after school and hunted ducks with a friend and his father. the same friend wore a skinning knife every day for muskrats. he ran his trap line every day before and after school. he paid cash for a new 1979 F-150 before graduation.
yep, things suck these days.

Re: Gun Rack
Sadly, these things are an open invitation to broken windows and ransacked trucks these days, even when empty - bottom feeders think you stashed the shootin irons under the seat. Lowlifes didn't even touch my buddy's survey scope, stereo or mag-lite ..they were only after the guns.

Re: Gun Rack
It's just too bad the nuts of this world have to ruin things for the law abiding people in this country.

Re: Gun Rack
man I am sorry I missed this one...
I would have loved to have a rack in my truck, even if it only held an umbrella or my hard hat 99% of the time, though I would have to drop my shotgun in it when parked in the driveway working on the truck... |

Re: Gun Rack
I saw a couple of these at Wal Mart the other day. I believe they were made by Winchester. They were plastic but same idea. And yeah, I live in Texas....
