It's a cast iron grey ceramic I had my powder coater (Witt's) do. No change from when I installed them and I expect them to remain that way for a LONG time Cost me $40 each, but well worth it for the lack of rust...

Wow, what a deal. I had mine blasted and I painted them with Eastwood's stainless paint and they are already rusted at 600 miles.
