What color is this?

Is this color combo a normal option for 72 chevy trucks?

Re: What color is this?

Going to look at first hand Friday, one owner truck on Craigslist. Dad took the photos for me. Guess the Shell is a pass through from the cab.

Re: What color is this?

It is probably a factory color 525 Light Yellow. It was also known by the Grapefruit Yellow sales name. The two-tone roof is probably factory because of the divider trim and it would be code 545. The mirrors and the stick on trim indicate a repaint to me as does the lower white rockers which are not seen on late (71-72) pickups. If you see the paint code on the glove box door it is likly 545 or 525. This is not the same color as Butternut Yellow.

Re: What color is this?

No,not a factory color "combo",but looks like factory colors. White could be generic or they may have actually matched codes. Apparently at that time the factory lower trim was removed and holes filled, along with fender badge holes.

Re: What color is this?

As the plates read "ARIZONA"....if it spent time in the Arizona sun, that may be the reason for the very faded Yellow!!
