Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
The way the shadow is cast on the bed makes it easy to imagine what one might look like if someone cut off the top of the bed along the fender curve. Has anyone ever seen one with that done to it?

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
THis is my first time to post here. what a great place to get info. This is my '70 I just starded on. I just finished the drop this weekend. 5" drop coils in the rear, 3" drop coils in front all CCP. McGaughy's 2.5 Drop spindles and Disc conversion in the front. Replaced axle shafts with shafts from 1979 Chevy Truck to get the 5 lug. These are just my roller wheels tht were on the donor truck that had the axles so I can roll her around till I'm ready for my real ones.I still havent replaced the shocks yet. I'm not sure which ones to get for it.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
my 85 4.5/6 front springs havent settled, but might have to trim them back a little bit to level it out. back end is in a liitle bit of a hole in the pics

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's
Finally feel good enough with the drop to post pics...2.5" CPP spindles and 1" drop springs front; JDM flip kit, shock mount relocated (drilled out 2nd hole in bracket and used Monroe stud), trimmed bump stops 1", stock front sized Monroe SensaTracs rear. 3/1 pack 2.25" leafs in the back are going to be replaced with 5/1 pack to bring it up a little, pinion angle is still off and a little bouncy. Holding off on the notch for now.
