Door adjustments
My passenger side front fender is pushed back too far into my door which is causing the door to not open. The radiator support is pushed back a little from an accident where the PO drank too much and drove the truck into his garage wall. What bolts do I need to loosen to adjust fender to allow my door to function as a door? I know the big one from my inner fender to inside the wheel well, but it has been so long since I put everything back together that I forgot where everything is. anyone wanna give me some clues?

Re: Door adjustments
First of all, you need to loosen the core (radiator) support mounts. There are two under the cowl, one under the lower rear and the one you mentioned for the inner fender. That should be enough to let everything move forward. You may have to loosen both core support mounting bolts.
Also remember you may need shims if the truck was in an accident with the PO. If I am missing anything, someone chime in. |
