THATS AWESOME!! I wanna build my dream garage in my back yard...but with a back yard of 40x40, my neigbors wouldn't like me to build 500x500 garage, idk...something about ppl living in the house next door....i don't think they should mind...i mean...i'd let em look at it and stuff

I had a guy stop and asked me if I'd give him and estimate on building him a garage, I told him he could not afford it. You should have seen the look on his face, then I told him I was the home owner building it myself. Glad the fence was up. LOL!

15. Gable ends finished, 32" steel door installed. Weekend to do list: garage door, trim and windows. Plan on finishing the roof the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Hopefully after Thanksgiving. My first project will be to pull the front clip off my truck and put in the core support I got from Donnie. I plan on wiring it around Christmas and sheetrock by the summer. Unfortunately I'll loose my attached garage for a study, laundry room and larger dining room. Have to start that project in the spring.

Dubie, that's just 15lb tar paper right now. As soon as I get the trim up then I'll put on the shingles. Hopefully trim Friday, shingles Saturday.

Thanks Larry, It has been fun to build. Been going to bed tired every night, lots left to do. My wife wants me to get everything out of the attached garage so she can get the Christmas stuff down and start decorating. The pressure is on.

Going to call inspections tomorrow and see what needs to be put in front of the garage door, slab wise that is. If nothing then I'll schedule an inspection. Hurray!

Thanks Bill. It has been an adventure. Ran out of roofing nails, 1 bundle of shingles short, broke a trim board. Everytime I turned around had to make a trip to Lowes.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm
