Door visors?
Noticed these on my '67 C10. Where these a factory option? Dealer accessory? or just some non-GM aftermarket thing?
Don't think I've ever noticed them on another truck before. |

Re: Door visors?
I think they actually were a popular accessory. I've seen them on many of these trucks. I never really thought much of them, until I had them on my 66 and I really liked em. I live in the desert, so was a nice addition, blocked a lot of the lower sun angles.

Re: Door visors?
The father in law put them on his way before me and the wife married. I took them off in 2001 when I painted the truck and never put them back on. But they are fixing to go back on.

Re: Door visors?
They were popular up to the late 70s or early 80s when the stick-on plastic shades became common. I bought a several different sets of stainless Ventshades and installed them. To me, the best feature of them was you could leave your windows rolled down a little while parked in the sun. The inside of the truck would stay a lot cooler and no rain could get in.
