I have one in my daily driver and one in my wife's truck. We both love them. I also own stock in the company, to show you how much I think about them....

Well, where I live, I can usually get 2 stations pretty clear. One plays country, one plays crappy rock. I describe them as, "If you don't like the trash on that station, you can listen to the garbage on the other station". I plan on XM... eventually.

I think it's $10 per month. Worth it to me.

Look into Sirius Radio too. I think it might be cheaper, and have more stations.
Same kinda deal, just a competitor

Scrub, Sirius is actuall more expensive (12.95 a month) with less stations. If you follow the stocks you will also see that they have way to many outstanding and just did another offering of 72 million this morning, ie. They are out of money. They only have 125K users, XM is over 1 million, which do you think will stick it out??

I dumped XM for Sirius. XM's equipment, and customer service is the pits. If Sirius folds, I'll have to settle for the FM, cause XM will never get another dollar of mine.

Say, I was wondering, they Xm radios have home "docking" stations I believe. How do
they get reception indoors? Do you have to have it connected to an antenna that is outside the house? Jim Mt Juliet |

passthebuck: Sorry to disappoint you but XM isn't available in Canada or at least they don't sell the service to Canadians. I had a look at their website last week and they specifically state that it's only available to US subscribers.
