Re: Hubcaps

I agree I thought they have a unique look to them they would look sweet polished. But does anyone have any ideas what these are off of? Or being specific what year "Chevy truck" these a supposedly come from?

Re: Hubcaps

As 72resto said, they are Chevette caps. My brother had a '78 Chevette as a yard car/beater and the hubcaps from it (identical to these) are hanging in my dads garage right now.

Re: Hubcaps

I knew it wasn't a truck. These got me wondering what they would look like on a truck. They are kind of neat looking.

Re: Hubcaps

My $.02, I think they would suit a truck as they're kind of utilitarian and plain.

Re: Hubcaps

not sure i'd put anything from a chevette on my truck...Dad was a Chevy dealer and the service department was always full of them...those cars were cursed.

Re: Hubcaps

Come on a Chevette got a little bit of Chevelle and Corvette in it, the caps scream performance.

Re: Hubcaps

I believe those to be air filter lids from four engines. On that note, should I get edelbrock hubcaps?

Re: Hubcaps

Honestly I wasn't that interested to get them I was thinking the diameter of them didn't sound right after I looked them up. I let some Chevette guy go get them plus they were too far away. I just had never seen them before they are probably best left for wall art.
