tailgate question
Is there any difference between the tailgates on Cheyennes and Customs?

Physical dimensions and hardware are the same. Cheyennes will have upper and lower trim plus a tailgate band. Supers will also have a chrome handle cover.
Customs can have upper and lower trim if ordered with mouldings, but no tailgate band. A tailgate with trim will have holes in it for the mounting hardware. The above is specific to fleetside gates only.

So, if I was to buy a new tailgate, it would come with no trim holes. If I had a Cheyenne I would have to drill the holes myself?
