another gas tank question

1971 chevy with fleetside, got a new 69 Camaro gas tank, held it up there tonight, question is, looks like it fits good up against the frame with some 1/4 inch padding. does anyone see a problem with it up against the frame???????

if you want the filler behind the plate, you will have to space it down about 3 inches.

my filler is behind the plate where it sets has a roll pan no bumper...will post pic's this weekend.
