L88 hood on our trucks.

Has anyone made or seen an l88 hood on our trucks? I'm thinking of fabbing one up but wonder how it will look.

I think it may look ok if you figure out what to do in the middle. Since the L-88 scoop and the hood body line do not match. It might take some trail and error to get it looking right.

Re: L88 hood on our trucks.

While it could look pretty good a few things come to mind.

Are you planning on fabbing it from scratch or using a vendor scoop and attaching it? If so get the dimensions and lay it out with tape.

Are you planning on making it a true cowl induction hood and hot air extraction vent or is it to be just a bump?

Im planning on fabbing it from scratch so I can match and remove certain body lines. Im not sure how functional I will make it. I'm a long way away from body work but just lining up my ducks to see where Im taking my build.

If I make one, I will run a screen at the bottom so it wouldn't catch water. I was thinking about that exact thing looking at pictures.
