Going to the SEMA Show

We will be leaving to go to Vegas for the SEMA Show on Tuesday morning (November 4th) and we won't up and running again until the next Monday. I will be able to reply to emails / PM's and send shipping quotes (in the evening), and I will be checking the phone messages and calling people back but I won't be able to ship anything until next week.

Sorry for any inconvenience (sp) this might create.

Shawn

Time to go wash the "RICE" off

Other than making a few good contacts that might lower our prices on some of the parts and possibly finding a few new items to carry, this years SEMA was a waste of time.

Like I said earlier I was going to try and find some trucks to take pics of (that was before I realized we forgot the camera), but our trucks were so poorly represented this year (as was anything made in the U.S.) it didn't even matter.

THANK GOD THE BOARD IS BACK (now I know how a drunk in detox must feel)

Your looking at the wrong pics then. There were tons of Sport Trucks there too.

I went for the whole week also. I think it was worth going even with all the rice burners. I think we didn't see as much Chevy this year because Ford was the featured sponser. I still got some good ideas and made some good contacts.

I was there for just one day. I spent the whole time in the performance and racing section. It did not disappoint. Every aftermarket manufacturer was there that you could think of. Not at all just riceburner stuff. I made a lot of good contacts for my truck and the racecar. Wish I could have been there all week.

I was there on Thursday. A lot of Jap crap, yes, but I enjoyed seeing all the hot rods as well as the resto and performance sections. Made some good contacts and got some good info from SCAT, AFR, McGaughy's, MSD, Mullins/Borgenson, and others. I also enjoyed the GM and Ford areas -- not one stock production car to be seen. I also got a million (well at least 20) free catalogs that normally sell for up to $5.00. A sad note -- the once famous Crower company (cranks, rods, and cams) was showing only parts for Japanese 4-banger engines. Silly me, I thought they "tuned" those things only with coffee can exhausts and neon lights!
