What do you think of My New Gauges?

This is just a preliminary assembly. I still have to take it apart and clean up a few thing. I just couldn't help when I saw it assembled to snap a quick pic and share!

Re: What do you think of My New Gauges?

Microsoft paint. Just about every computer comes with it free. Right click on photo, "open with" then click paint. "Rotate" is one of the options on top.

Also, a lot of picture viewers have a little rotate button somewhere in the corner when you open the pic and they usually save it after it's been rotated.

That also looks really awesome, sideways photo and all!

Thanks. I'm running a MacBook. The odd thing is that it is straight on the computer. When it uploaded it turned it for some reason.

Re: What do you think of My New Gauges?

Thanks! They are Speedhut Gauges:
4 1/2" Speedo (With High Beam Indicator)
4 1/2" Tachometer (With Check Engine Indicator)
3 3/8" Fuel Gauge (Can Bus) ***Had to have this one custom made***
2 1/16" Volt (Can Bus)
2 1/16" Water Temp (Can Bus)
2 1/16" Tranny Temp (Can Bus)
2 1/16" Oil Pressure (Can Bus)

The crappy cell phone picture doesn't do them justice. The gauges themselves look much better in person!

Re: What do you think of My New Gauges?

Usually I don't like gauges that are non-stock .... yours look very crisp, cool.
Excellent choice.

Re: What do you think of My New Gauges?

Thank you. I tried to design the faces to be very similar to stock gauges. I couldn't get the needle to be completely orange, so I had the middle of them be chrome instead of black.

Re: What do you think of My New Gauges?

Here is a better pic of the gauges when I first got them. You can see the detail a little better.

Re: What do you think of My New Gauges?

Those look great. So what comes with them for senders? And how does the speedometer and odometer hook up? Does it connect to the original speedometer cable?

Do you totally eliminate the printed circuit? Any pics of the back of the gauge cluster?

I guess I should have better qualified my statements above. These are for my LS swap. The speedo reads from the ECM, The tach Reads from the ECM, and all of the other gauges read from the CAN BUS system. They plug into the OBD II port to get all of the info from the data signal from the ECM. So it uses all of the factory LS senders.

With that said, they do sell the same gauges (you customize them when ordering) in standard gauges. I don't think they have a mechanical speedo, but they do have a GPS speedo that is pretty cool!

Please stand by for heart failure! The gauges themselves were just under 800.00. This was my splurge to make my gauges easier to install. No pics of the back yet. I haven't finished cleaning up everything yet. I have to disassemble and paint, clean and reassemble. I will get a pic when I get that done. I would do it tomorrow, but its Mothers Day, so we are treating my wife tomorrow! But I will update everyone as son as I get everything all finished up!
