Project Purple Haze

Hey there, new to this fourm and thought I would start a build thread.

A little background to the truck. I bought a 72 chev LWB and a 69 GMC LWB when I was 15 with the thoughts of a little work to the 72 and I would be away driving.

Well that plan did not work. Worked on it on and off till I went to college when I was 22, then it was put in a shed and forgotten about.(13 years ago)

That brings us to today, where it has been pulled out and started again.

The plan is as follows:
ECE 4/6 Drop
20 inch Foose Legends
Purple paint with a this yellow pinstripe
New wood box floor
Interior will have bucket seats with a custom made console andns stereo. Colors planned are black with Yellow inserts.
Relocate the gas tank to under bed(Boyds Welding)
350 engine

I am sure as I go there will be more stuff come up. It is at the Stereo shop now getting the custom console built, then off to Mechanical next week.

Thanks

Re: Project Purple Haze

looking forward to seeing the progress ! I like the top one the best, depending on how deep the purple is ? I think it would almost need to be black to not "date" the truck to look like a 90's build . Just my 2 cents and that's about what it is worth !
