1971 K10 column issues. Video!
Hi new to the forum! Just bought a 1971 K10 and it seems that my lower bearing on my column is not wanting to stay in. When I first got it I found that the preload spring was behind the lower bearing. I took it apart, put the spring back where it was supposed to be, and I still have the same problem. Do I need to get a longer spring? Not sure what to do...

Cancell cam behind steering wheel rides against upper bearing and pulls load against lower.
And BTW Welcome to the forum.

So if I have the cancel cam and steering wheel that will pull it all back in? I also found that the column tube was pushed farther than what It needed to be. I readjusted but I'm still off by about an inch. I'll see what happens when I put the steering wheel back on.
