Re: Rear Window Shades/Blinds
Hey I don't have a picture of any in a truck, but I was thinking about some for my truck. When my wife got some for the house she had to measure the windows then have them made to fit. Why can't we do the same for our trucks.
I think that will work great and besides you can get the color you want and not be at the mercy of someone else's color choice. Can't beat that...Vernski |

Re: Rear Window Shades/Blinds
Wow, I've never seen those before! Is that a west coast thing?
I like the look, but not the further reduced visibility...

Re: Rear Window Shades/Blinds
Ok, I know this sounds weird but I know it works. I did this on my 79 chevy Luv back when I was in Highschool.
use pet screen. You can get a roll at places like lowes and home depot http://www.homedepot.com/p/Phifer-48...7#.UZ49Z0qyLyA Just cut to fit the window. The thick screen makes for a nice, almost tinted look and reduces the light by I'd say half but still lets you see through. I have put this on every window in my house, on my travel trailer and my old pickup. And it leaves you with good visibility. And I bet with a little ingenuity you can even make it roll up and down. |

Re: Rear Window Shades/Blinds
Space... thats for the tip/advice! I am looking for examples of actual blinds more for aesthetic reasons. Just love the classic look!
