Powerglide Coolant lines
I need help figuring out the factory correct parts for the powerglide coolant lines to radiator installation. I purchased coolant lines from a parts supplier, the lines end with a 90 degree towards the ceiling. The supplier tells me that there is supposed to be a 90 degree elbo fitting installed into the radiator first, then the lines get connected to those. from what I can tell, It appears the they should have a slight bend just before the ends. So they go staight into the radiator tank without the 90 degree elbows. I sure could use some help with this. Thanks in advance. Mike

Re: Powerglide Coolant lines
All three of my trucks they had that 90 degree brass fitting in the lower radiator and the lines went straight into the fitting at a 90 of the tank.

Re: Powerglide Coolant lines
Thanks for your help, The Truck Shop is the supplier that I purchased the reproduction lines from. They are telling me that there should be a 90 degree elbow in the lower radiator tank. Meaning that the line comes up vertically and connects to the elbow. I was under the impression that the lines entered the tank straight on at a horizontal position. The PO had cut the lines to reroute them into an add on Hayden core out on the front of the radiator. Always greatful for your info. Mike
