Re: plans for the weekend
I'm hoping to work up enough energy to do my rear brakes and brake lines.
Probably wind up sitting in the garage looking at the truck and drinking.

Re: plans for the weekend
Nsra street rod show in town this weekend. I'm not paying $80 to not be able to show my boat with my truck, but will go as a spectator and participate in the free cruising at nite in town.

Re: plans for the weekend
Going to really clean up my bed floor, paint it with rust reformer and then lay down my new rubber bed mat. If I'm lucky, I might get hooked up with a new (used) steering column and work on that too. Also hope to take and post some pics of my truck with the 3" lift kit we installed last weekend.

Re: plans for the weekend
Today's my birthday and with the help of a LOT of reading from this board, I managed to get my '70 C20 to start and idle. What a great way to start my Birthday!
First time it has ran in years! It's still a bit of a basket case with Brake, Wiring, and Vacuum problems, but at least it's running now. Thanks to all of you! This forum is the best... It's like I've 3 Uncles, my Dad, and both my Grandfathers under the hood with me! Cheers! To those who have served! Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by YourBuddy'sTruck; 05-24-2013 at 06:40 PM. Re: plans for the weekend
Well I got a couple of projects I could do. I want to rebuild my windshield wiper motor and I have to replace the cables on my AC/HEATER controls. Or I can do the foam on my Hood supports. I got plenty to do and I got the parts just need to get motivated and dive in.

Re: plans for the weekend
Yes, wash mine again for the second weekend in a row. Spent two hours last Saturday washing and cleaning mine inside and out as I was gonna drive it to a fancy wedding I was invited to on Sunday. Little did I know that part of the road to winery it was being held at turned into gravel, thus rendering the cleaning the day before pointless. Now to get back to where I was pre-wedding.

Re: plans for the weekend
I just got my lowered sway bar brackets today, so hopefully I'll get my sway bar mounted, then it's on to removing the cab, and the rear springs.

Re: plans for the weekend
IF it stops raining and it dries up, de-dent, prime & paint right side wheel well, reinstall. Think about new shocks.
