I gotta stop
Since it is against forum rules to post sales on here from vendors,
I am going to no longer do this. We are going to start emailing a sales letter to anyone who is interested in our sales though. You can always unsubscribe to it if you no longer want receive the news letter. If interested in signing up, Email me at sales@carolinaclassictrucks.com with the subject "signing up for sales". Thank you, Ryan Church

That is not the only reason I'm doing it but it clearly states that vendors are not supposed to be doing this. By emailing our customers, it will allow us to better control our sales and customers easier. Somtimes my customers may not see the sale on the board until it is over. I believe emailing our customers would be a better way to get the information to them. There are other reasons that I wont even get into as well!

I agree with Church, the board has been getting too commercialized lately. It seems like everytime somebody asks a question about a part to get everyones opinion, a bunch of different vendors jump in trying to outdo each other for a sale. I want to hear from somebody that has already bought it and either likes it or dislikes, without trying to sell it to me first. Just my 2 cents, but I think Church needs to be commended for taking the high road on this matter. I'm signin' up!

I SURELY LIKE THE COMPETTIVENESS BETWEEN SOME OF THE VENDORS. MAY THE FITTEST SURVIVE.(QUOTE)It seems like everytime somebody asks a question about a part to get everyones opinion, a bunch of different vendors jump in trying to outdo each other for a sale. (QUOTE) IT'S KINDA FUNNY THAT I HAVEN'T NOTICED THAT, & I'M HERE EVERY DAY..... SEVERAL TIMES. . I THINK THE BOARDMEMBERS, MONTHLY SPECIALS ARE THE GREATEST THING TO HAPPEN BETWEEN VENDORS & THE AVERAGE TRUCK BUILDER IN THE HISTORY OF THIS BOARD. THE ONLY THING IT'S DONE SO FAR IS LOWER THE PRICES OF PARTS WE ALL NEED & USE. I WAS DOING THESE TRUCKS IN THE 80s WHEN PARTS WERE MOSTLY UNAVAILABLE & EXTREEMLY EXPENSIVE (FOR INSTANCE I REMEMBER PAYING $140 FOR AN INST. BEZEL....... NOW THEY'RE $25) FOR THESE TRUCKS. AS THEY BECOME MORE & MORE AVAILABLE, THE PRICE GOES DOWN. THERE IS ONE VENDOR THAT HAS LOWERED MORE PRICES IN THE LAST 6 OR 8 MONTHS THAN ALL THE OTHER VENDORS PUT TOGETHER, IN THE LAST 3 YEARS. WHEN IT COME RIGHT DOWN TO IT..... I KNOW WHERE ALL MY HARD EANED NICKELS ARE GOING. JOHN

i like the vendors being on here personally. they can show up different things like i know one vendor has showed us the quality of his and other peoples parts. they know things the average builder wouldnt usually.

Sales
I like having vendors post sales on here. To me, it is one of the benefits of being a boardmember!
