K20 progress
Just got my truck stripped down to the frame. I have started wire wheeling down the frame and will paint if before this weekend. Then he will be all ready for his new body from Teeitup. All i have left is to figure out a motor. What do you guys think, big or small block?
David

Think outside the box. 292 or 305 V6. Then put a plow on it

I vote for the small block. Way less work also. How about a 406 for some maximum torque? I have the GM ZZ4s in mine. I just wish the quality was better on those crate engines..........

Hope I have answered your questions so far on this, let me know if you have more questions.
With the frame just sitting there sure makes doing a big block conversion easier. I say go for it! I hope to have my cab back on my frame in maybe two to three weeks. Will be nice to see it in one piece again.

Shouldn't He be a She.
He might be offended after the finished product when you say something like "Isn't he a thing of beauty" Female names are much more easier to work with too especially when you are lonely. |

I always thought that nice looking trucks were she's, and a rough and ready beast like mine started out as (and is at the present) would be he's. It would make one ugly woman as of now

Attempting to swap cabs (i have done this at least 5 times, and always have problems, this time i used Dean's idea of the board, but the lift wouldn't go up high enough to let me roll the frame under it, so i had to let the air out of the front tires to get it to work
