Hello, first off I would like to thank everyone on this site for what I have already learned. BRUCE88, Awesome "Its Just a Truck" thread. Second, the title of this thread, it's obviously not a "new" '71, but new to me and my youngest son. It will be his daily driver.
A little about me, I am an IT guy, but not your typical computer geek. I was a Comercial Electrician for about 11 years before going into IT. I'd say I'm more of a tool geek I've got no problem buying a tool and learning how to use it if needed to complete a job, that's how I've ended up with; Plasma Cutter, Tig Welder, Mig WElder, Oxy/acetylene torch, 12 ton hydraulic press... the list goes on I've been a car guy, since about age 8, I'm now 44. Married for 21 years, 2 sons, ages 16 and 20. My username comes from "my" car, a 67 Chevelle. Other cars at my house right now; '67 El Camino, my older son's daily driver, we saved that one from the crusher, started the restore when he was 14. 2007 Dodge Charger, Daytona, #1313 out of 1500 made that year in Sublime Green, my wife's daily driver. A 13 second grocery getter that still manages 22 MPG @ 80 MPH with the AC on! And now the '71 C/10 Stepside, my younger son and I have already started work on it. Also a 2007 Dodge Mega Cab 4x4, company truck, my daily driver. I am also a member at Chevelles.com and ChargerForums.com I look forward to contributing here as well. Thanks, Todd Last edited by 67WrenchHead; 06-07-2013 at 02:33 PM. Reason: pics |
