70 c20 wiring harness ?'s

looking to replace the complete wiring harness in my 70 chevy c20, have a couple questions.

what company offers the best kit? by best kit i mean most complete, junction box and all, ease of installation etc. i see lmc has a kit, american autowire, and painless

id like to keep most parts stock, but down the road i would like to add some more powerful headlights, an am/fm radio and maybe a few other things, but other than that she should be all stock

im basically clue less on wiring so any help or suggestions would be great

i do have the stock wiring harness and all, however its seen its better days and has been cut up over the years, so having a new kit would give me peace of mind

also, what would a nice kit cost me? i havent looked at to many kits but lmc's runs for about 700$
i also plan on running aftermarket gauges and gage cluster in the future

I've put a painless harness in a 79 jeep. They have great customer service and awesome tech help. The instructions are color coded and all the wires are labeled and all wire connectors are included in the kit. One can usually be had for 500-600 bucks. Sometimes you can find one on eBay from summit or somewhere else cheaper.

I second the AAW Classic update kit. All under dash wiring with new headlight, ignition, dimmer switches. Engine kit, front lights and rear lights. All that you'd need. I paid $466 and some change, with free shipping from here.

From the headlights to the brake lights. New blade style fuse block with extra spaces. I think it was 599 with 100 dollar rebate. It was not difficult just took some time to run the dash wires and front clip.
