Tail Light Connector Question

We ordered new Tail Light Sockets from LMC Trucks to replace the ones in a '70 GMC fleetside. Problem is, the ones LMC sent only have two wires (see photo). The original wires to the factory sockets have three wires. It looks like an extra dark brown wire.

Anybody run into this problem before? Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Tail Light Connector Question

The extra brown wire is most likely for the rear tag light.

Probably for the side marker light.

Re: Tail Light Connector Question

Extra brown wire on left side goes to the tag light.
