1 ton dana rear problem ?
my 83 chevy -1 ton truck had a left wheel seal leaking ,checked 90 wt oil ?seemed to have some water in it ?? pulled both drums ! had some lite pitting on wheel bearings !!! im just worried about carrier bearings ?might be same way ? anybody had same problem ? should i have it torn down and checked ?to avoud trouble down the road ? pinion seal semms ok-no gear noise! ring and pinion look ok ! thanks for any info ??

Make sure the air vent tube on the top of the diff is intact, and the end is bolted on as high up on the truck as it can go.
