has anyone out there ever put a stronger fan/heater blower in their chevys? I own a '72 shory with a 350 engine, and I barely get enough air going through the defrosters or heater to do the job. What works for anybody out there?

I don't know about a stronger blower, but are you sure you're getting all of the speed out of your current one? Mine didn't blow very hard, but I found that the cable on my fan switch needed adjusting. See if you can manualy move the cable to make it blow at the highest setting. After I got my switch to actually go to the highest setting, my non-ac heater blows pretty hard. I also found that my defroster hoses were loose and full of holes.

After reading your post, I guess that I was assuming that you had a non-a/c truck. If you have a/c, then disregard my previous rambling.

Sure there's not something blocking the ductwork? Leaves or critter nests, etc.

Could have some air leaks??? Maybe in the heater box a gasket is torn or missing. Just a thought.

Maybe some of the diverter doors in the heater system aren't opening/closing properly and diverting the airflow somewhere else.
