So ill admit I have a New Toy to the Family
Just picked this truck up about a month ago. First weekend took it to my brothers graduation from Fullerton University. First day I got it I noticed a noise from transmission took it to GM and had it rebuilt under warranty. This weekend I took it to the Pismo Beach Fathers Day car show. Rides real smooth. It has a 4.8, 4/6 drop on 24's. So far I have added the rear inner fender liners to help the rear wheels stand out better and not have to keep that white so clean in wheel wells. Heres some pictures tell me what you guys think.

Re: So ill admit I have a New Toy to the Family
It's a beautiful looking truck, I'd love to have a lowered 07-13 with my lifted 2012, but I gotta get back into a 73-87 first.

Re: So ill admit I have a New Toy to the Family
Do the plastic front fender wells have holes wore into them, yet? My 2011 GMC standard cab SWB with 265/50/20s and a McGaughy's 5/7 drop put rough, jagged holes in the plastic fender wells in about two weeks. I opened up the top of the plastic wells by cutting a 4" X 4" hole above the tire and then heating and riveting the fender wells to themetal fender backing plates above them. Problem solved with rubbing.
Looks good and sets good. I need to put another windshield on mine, after winter due to pitting and we will have a tinted brow on it then. Since this picture was taken, the wheels and the exhaust has been update, as well as a set of Street Scene mirrors installed.

I was just at the Angel's stadium this past weekend for the Monster Jam. That is a really nice stadium.

Re: So ill admit I have a New Toy to the Family
I like it! Hopefully mine will be similar with a bit more rake in about 2 weeks. Going to the audio shop this week. Been a while since I had some horsepower behind the seat. Nice sled!

Re: So ill admit I have a New Toy to the Family
Looks awesome!
I acquired a NNBS this year (08 2wd w/ 3.73) as well and like you i have the 4.8L v8 and i am very happy with the power it provides and the mileage is good as well for a large truck. I am on 22's with a 5/7 and my front inner fenders are burnt out pretty good in a couple spots haha.. Is your truck a 2wd? Kris

Re: So ill admit I have a New Toy to the Family
I'll be using a low lift comps can. Dod delete. Been working on upgrading suspension components using the newer Belltech spindle for 4 inch drops, it corrected some of the camber issue. Will be installing Belltech struts, sway bar and camber kit soon. 4:11s should be getting installed this month and tune in January finally.
