'71 K20 back to original paint scheme

Howdy, It's been a long time coming, but I got her painted. I have the original delivery ticket from CA that showed her as a two tone. PO had her painted an off color solid green. I brought here back to #502 & #504. What a difference the correct green makes, even my wife likes the colors. I'll send more pics as I progress. The hood and tail gate are back on and I'm learning how to do the trim. She will still be a working off beast, but I won't take as many chances. What a pain!
The painter is very impressed with the hydraulic brake system, so if you have low vacuum; it's the only way to go!

So your truck is coded 465, 521 white /504 med. green poly? Always wondered what that shade/code was on your truck under the clear coat remains but I could never find it again to follow up. Its looking good now and finished up it will look even better.

What exactly are you refering to as a "delivery ticket"? An invoice, SPID, build sheet, dealer order form, sales invoice, sales contract or an actual copy of the shipper invoice?

I guess it's the build sheet. I'll have to look at it. I have it in a plastic sleeve in the file cabinet.

These trucks look best in factory colors. Nice looking K/20!
