Steering stabilizer
http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=135
Just happened across this on the LMC website, is anyone running one? How much difference does it make on a power steering truck, vs a manual steering one? It doesn't seem like a lot of money for something that might make a difference at $69.95. My Toyota PU's all had these but I never tried to run the truck without it to know how much difference it made. I'd think for a lowered truck with wide fronts it might help a little with bumpsteer. |

Re: Steering stabilizer
I tried one on a straight axle truck without PS & it was dangerous. It works good with power steering. A front sway bar is a great addition.

Re: Steering stabilizer
My 4x4 has one. Manual steering. If its the stabilizer your talking about. Idk about a sway bar, haven't looked. My jeeps all have them but they are PS.
Never considered it dangerous... Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Steering stabilizer
I've put them on a couple of PS trucks. The steering 'seems' more solid or positive, but maybe I was just looking for an improvement. I can't see where it would be dangerous.
