Did you really mean '75 short bed??? Please say you meant '67 (with no sidemarkers).

sounds like a plan, i think that there are some hurdles to jump swapping fenders besides the obvious though...

ive made the cut. its 12" from under the cab, no where else is straight enough to trust. then about 5-6" off the end of the frame. theres a company in oregon that sells a reinforcement kit specially made for our trucks for these projects. i also have quite a few pics of the job if you want

it`s actually 8 " from the rear of the frame. look in custom classic trucks in the april 03 issue. early classics did the conversion and it gives a good step by step. i was going to do the same to my 68 lwb but i just found a swb frame for $100.

Isn't the 75 bed a little longer than the 67-72 beds? IOf so, this may chainge the amount chopped from the frame.

'67 and '77 are identical...80 inches long. As far as I can tell the tailgates and bed front as well as the supports are identical. I would not put the later model fenders on however...they just don't match the smooth lines of the '67 - '72. I have seen them and they are clearly a design mismatch. Just my 0.02 however...it's your truck!

i just talked to my buddy, he had a 75 swb and bought a 68 step bed to put on it and he said nothing lined up to mount it. just wanted to pass it on, maybe it will work, maybe it won`t.
