Ride Height Recommendation/Pics
One of the PO cut my springs in front and removed the stops. They used air bags to lower in the back and one side seems to have a slight leak. I want more travel and dont necessarily want to ride that low. In consideration of cost, I'd like to replace all around with springs first without installing lowered spindles up front.
Question: Can I get some of you to post pictures of your ride height with 20" wheels and just lowering springs (no lowered spindles)? Which springs did you use and what is your ride height? Thanks! This is where it sits right after I air up the leaking driver's side rear bag.

Re: Ride Height Recommendation/Pics
I'm not sure how many you'll find without spindles. If you do an all spring drop, the ride is definitely rougher and you run the risk of bottoming out the suspension, depending on how low you want to go.
Here's a link to fleetsides with 20's of various drops. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=538914 I don't know if you'll find a spring-only drop in there though. This should give you an idea of how it will look anyway.

That's what I'm looking for. Thanks Duane.
Looks like I'll start with the spindles.

Re: Ride Height Recommendation/Pics
No problem. I could have sworn there was a thread for static drop pictures, but I can't seem to find it right now. IF I do, I'll post up the link for you.

Ha! Found it...
http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=471442 15 pages of pics and comments, but all sorts of variations on static drop of different years and wheel sizes.
