Is this spot OK for a temp sensor??

I want to put my water temp sensor here so the wiring is less visable. I don't have a place on my pre '67 Camelback heads to install this so the intake is my only option. Would this spot be any less accurate than up front next to the thermostat? Thanks!

From what I've been told the best place is right by the water neck, most accurate reading.

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing but I had a buddy say anyone of the ports on the intake will be almost identical as far as temp readings go. Also I saw another truck that had it in the back so I started questioning this.

How much of a temp difference do you think there would be between the front port and the back port?

Thanks Hayhauler, I was hoping I could put it in the back of the intake. Funny thing is, that port doesn't even look like it could be a water jacket, it looks too thin there.
