Lowering Spring Question

So I've been considering lowering my truck. Interested in 4/6 static drop. Now, I've read that you cannot go lower than 5" in the rear without notching the frame. Is this true or LMC truck propaganda? Any info on the matter would be appreciated.

Re: Lowering Spring Question

check out ECE they have drop coils and no c notch. They actually say something on the website about not needing a c notch. Early Classic Enterprises is the name of the company. A lot of guys are running their coils on the static drop forum.

Pick somewhere else to buy suspensionn products from instead of LMC.
(like www.earlyclassic.com)

LMC is NOT the source of all things C10.
They just fill the world with the most catelogs.
My opinion,... most of their stuff is junk.

Read and inform yourself.
(Not an LMC fan)
