Re: What did you name your truck?

My 71 C10 is Rain Dancer (she is a little tail happy in the rain)
My old flat black 69 C20 is called Black Betty or Big Betty
My brother's 69 C15 is called Cherry Bomber (we stuck a old Cherry Bomb glasspack on it and the name stuck)

Mine's been called Leonardo. When I bought it the shell had a ninja turtles sticker on it and that's what everyone remembers.

Mine was named by a friend on a 67-72 Facebook site. Because of the colors he named it "Cream Sickle".

Re: What did you name your truck?

I named my truck Ms. Vicki after the lady I bought it from... she wanted $750 for the truck and in talking to her she said she was selling it because she needed to get dentures... as I was looking at the truck she said she could take a little off for some of the things that were wrong with the truck... I found out that her dentures were going to cost $1000.00 so I told her she didn't have to knock anything off and I gave her the $1000 for the truck... I still got a great deal... this truck was passed from Grandpa who bought it brand new to his son and the son passed it to his daughter... a one family all original truck. It was only fitting to name it after her... I literally bought this truck from a little ol' lady who barely ever drove it... oh yeah... it has 46K original miles on it...

Re: What did you name your truck?

I couldn't decide between Artie (aka R-T, short for Rattle-Trap) or Bob (short for Bucket O' Bolts) but the kids liked Bob better so it stuck.

Poppy. I inherited the truck from my grandpa (poppy) and so I've named it in his honor.

Re: What did you name your truck?

Current truck I am trying to find time to work on is called "39".

It is a tribute to all the friends I lost in Iraq and Afghanistan.

For you my brothers. I can't turn wrenches with you anymore but I can sure remember all of you when I am working on our truck. It sure won't be pretty but it will get the job done, no matter what that job is.

The number is going to be etched into the lower right corner of the rear window.

Re: What did you name your truck?

I grew up driving my dad's 1969 (the Beast). When I bought my 1968 at the end of the year last year, I gave her the name Destiny. It fits.
