Re: Truck Carlisle?
Yep. You remember Flip-Flop John from when I picked up those parts? He's bringing a driver side window rail for you.

Re: Truck Carlisle?
Maybe now that this thread has been moved to "Event Coverage" someone else can post some pictures to help "cover" the event. The few pictures of just my spot hardly qualify.
For me it was a great show all around. I got to see and chit-chat with all the others who vend there as well as pretty much the usual folks who attend...including more site members than I can name or count...and some new,got to know my backyard neighbor (hardware vendor/family business) much better than before, took off some to look around, saw Magasaurus eat a car, burnout contest, monster trucks, big rigs, and show trucks. It started raining just before dawn on Saturday. "Oh boy, here we go. That's it for the show",I thought as I ate my breakfast. I could accept that's how it goes,Friday was it. But what the heck to do all day long??? They were reporting about 7 hours of rain ahead covering the whole state. Well,by the grace of God the rain stopped by about 9 and it wasn't enough to keep people from coming or from show trucks either. The weather was great after the rain, cooler and drier. My buddy brought me the YOM Maryland Farm Truck tags for my '72 he restored and life was good. Saturday night, nine of us went and had supper at the Fairground Diner. My buddy and I were craving vegetables and home cooking. Those egg sandwiches, sausages, bbqs, etc were sure tasty and all,but dang, you just gotta have a well rounded meal every now and then. Jim had his beautiful '69 K/10,John had his very nice attention getter...'67 K/10 Panel,Jason had his sweet black '87 shortbed, and I was 67-72less this year. I used my '85 Jimmy & trailer. That actually works better,so not sure about next year. It's nice to have some covered cargo space,I slept in it,and it fit my space pulled straight in so the tailgate was at the edge of the row. Never unhooked and people could step onto the trailer and look at things inside. Sorry I don't have more to report, but for me it was a great time.

Re: Truck Carlisle?
I have a few pics but still dont know how to resize them.
I had a great time there's nothing like searching "truck only parts" i spent 9 hrs. there sat. I was thinking it was gonna be a crappy day cause it rained the whole hour drive there but as soon as i parked the sun came out an it was nice the rest of the day except a few minute sprinkle. I got to hang with tim an a few other fell'as for a bit an shoot the sh!t came home with a few parts for my build but there was alot there that i wish i had more $ for but thats tipical for carlise shows. but as usual there were pretty many very nice trucks(of all kinds) there an alot too see. i must say i'm still looking forward too fall carlise i just hope i can get off work for it. i had to kiss azz to have off this day but it was time well spent

Re: Truck Carlisle?
It was good to talk again this year. I hope you'll show pictures when you can. I'm anxious for the fall show, too! These shows give me buying fever and put me on a parts alert high. I think my eyes go better than 20/20 at a swap meet. I see ants in their holes
