Re: Radiator core mounts?????

The square washer goes on top of the core support to keep the bolt from spinning while tightening the nut on the bottom.
Then it is your radiator support.
Then rubber bushing with a steel washer under it. That sits on top of your frame bracket.
Then under the frame bracket will go another steel washer, then rubber bushing, then steel washer again, then the kind of triangular shaped piece, and finaly the bolt. Once you tighten the bolt you bend the norrow side of the triangular shaped piece over to keep the bolt from backing off. WES

Re: Radiator core mounts?????

Would you have another one of those for a 72? I am getting ready to put mine on, and they were destroyed after 40yrs and just fell apart.

Re: Radiator core mounts?????

ok sorry to necro this thread but does the radiator have to come out to get that bolt out? I cant see anyway of getting to it otherwise. the nut is right there but i dont see how to get to the top of that bolt to take it out and put the new bolt and washers in?
