Stock Gages?
My truck just came with the basic gages. Speedo, Fuel, and idiot lights. But the guy I bought my truck from gave me a whole box of extras. Im not sure where all this stuff came from, but its obviously not from my truck.
He gave me 2 extra full gage clusters, and the other two have actual gages for temp and oil pressure (I need to double check and see if one has a tach. Im at work and cant remember off hand). Is there an easy way to check to see if one of these clusters is fully functional? Or do I have to pull mine out and just hope for the best? What all will I need to change to hook up the temp and oil pressure gages? Both sets of gages do have the electrical strip along the back.

Re: Stock Gages?
Temp sending unit and an oil line.
Its probably quicker and easier to swap clusters than to test the gages. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Stock Gages?
My truck came with the basic set up too but I've wanted to put the "full guage" package into it for years! One day.....

Re: Stock Gages?
Its not a plug and play swap. The wires in the harness connector need to be moved around for the gauges to work correctly and IIRC not doing it will burn something out. Try the search button for details on a cluster swap.
