67 3/4 4x4 with a automatic, rebuilt BB thats supposed to be a 427 but I have not confirmed that yet, I have used exhaust manifold for it and used intake, stall convertor in it, rebuilt tranny and transfer. AC cab and its nice, needs small amount of driv. rocker and corner work and its ready, I have the 2 front fenders for it and grill, no rad support. Doors are real good. I really don't know what to price this one at but it would make someone a nice project. Starting price of $3000.

I don't know if I'm selling this one yet, just thinking. Might possibly be for sale 72 swb 4x4, with rebuilt tranny and shift kit, new crate motor with about 2000 miles on it, frontend has been completely redone, new tires with less than 1500 miles on them, AC cab but not original one. $5000 if I sell it. Cab and doors are not very good but have another real good cab if someone wants to buy it with the truck for $500 extra, have another set of 72 doors for extra $350, front clip is good, and bed is pretty good. 2 inch lift kit on it. This thing runs and drives good and starts all the time. It needs a ps pump put on it, I got one that goes with it, front driveshaft needs new U-joints, it is out of it right now, and previous owner has dual electric fans on it, they need to be taken off and put back original, I have the stuff to do that, it goes with it. It has tach and tilt in it. I bought this truck for $3000 awhile back and re did the frontend and $2000 worth of mechanical work to it, put tach, tilt, and new tires and wheels on it. I'm still thinking on this one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Iv'e seen all these trucks and any one of them would make a great project, the 72 swb has a very clean frame and the right front frame horn is bent a little but would be a very easy fix, perfect for someone wanting to build a 4x4 swb and not wanting to cut up a lwb frame to do it.

The 67 3/4 ton 4x4 is a steal at that price, it allready has a 14 bolt rear and disc brake dana 44 front and I believe a 4" lift under it, cab is very straight and solid.

Us west coasters must be getting great deals on shorty 4x4's. For 3500 bucks you can get alot of truck with minimum rust. I paid $ 700 for my 69 4x4...rusted rocker, cab corners only. misc dents and trashed interior. Broke frame at the steering box. But.....it still ran. Sorry if I affended your pricing teeitup.

Blue4x4, one of the first rules of THIS board is NOT to ??? anybody's pricing. You must be new, that is VERY rude of you!!! People will LOOK down on you for doing that. Put in a new crate motor, rebuilt tranny, new tires and and frontend in one and see how much you have in it. Your about down to what you paid for yours!

I'd give $1,200 for it. Well, since he's asking 12, I'd offer about 6 and dicker til we agreed on a price, just for principle; never pay what someone's asking! Unfortunately I'm not in the market for a 4x4 yet, but I may be sometime.

4x4's are getting rarer by the day.

Kidder, i think that they are talking about the white 72. I have saw Randy's truck in person and think that it is worth every bit of what he is asking. Since i have been into these trucks, i have only personally seen about 5 swb 4X4's around here for sale, and this is one of the cheaper trucks.

A fairly decent mid 80s SWB 4x4 will go for around 5k with a torn seat and bondo cracks in the paint around here! And I know those 72's are more rare and desirable, so thats probably a reasonable price. Hell I paid 2200 dollars for my 85 SWB 4x4 with a bad transmission! The guy was asking 2800 and the A/C has been taken off, needed a radiator, transfer case rebuilt (didn't know when I bought it) Had no fan shroud with a rattly flex fan. Its amazing what people want for these old chevys in the Piedmont of NC.

Too many 72's!

I'd have a hard time dropping $5k on that for one simple reason. I think it's definitely worth it, but I'm the guy that would rather buy a rolling chassis for $1000, then drop the remaining $4k on everything else and build up a truck than just buy one assembled. I like a challenge. Good luck selling 'em randy.
