1967 C10 gas tank swap/which gas tank?
I am wanting to relocate my gas tank on my 1967 stepside to the rear of the truck. I am installing a LT1 so would like to find a later model with a return line fitting. What gas tank will fit. I would like to find one that would fit that I can get from a junk yard to save some money. This entire truck is a budget build. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I used a tank out of an '87 suburban. Most suburban tanks from '67-'92 will work with a little work, keep in mind you'll lose your spare tire. Here's how I fit mine: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=574911

I put a lt1 out of a 98 truck in my 68 and put a gas tank out of a 98 s-10 2 door blazer. Fit between the rails with a little trimming.
