Craigslist find-----not mine

http://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/4010401072.html

Price is high, but could be a good find if the owner will negotiate.

That truck is also for sale on this forum - it belongs to board member ScottH. In his ad he says he's open to offers.

Given the swiss cheese that I see on the market around here, that truck is pretty darn solid.

I agree. If it had a running motor installed it would probably go for the asking price pretty easily.

Wow, I wish I lived where some of you do, where $3600 seems high for a truck in this condition. I'd say that is a very fair deal, especially considering all that it comes with. That's just my opinion, as I have not seen the truck in person ever and perhaps because here in MI they rust more than in other areas of the country I suppose. Don't know if they use road salt in Jersey, or not, like here in MI, but if they do, that truck has survived really well.

They salt, but nowhere close to what you see in MI. A little north of here you start getting into the rust belt. Amazing the rusted newer cars you will see in upstate NY.

I based my opinion on what I paid for my truck....I bought a running steering stopping shortbed with about the same visual amount of rust for $3600 8 months ago. I got a bed full of extra parts with it.

From what I have seen, pricing on these trucks is very regional, as is condition. A great deal in NJ might be complete junk out west.
