Hinge pins and bushings

Anyone have a part number for pins and bushings for a 67-72 truck. Parts stores aren't showing any. I'd like to get local if possible

Re: Hinge pins and bushings

They are in the "help" section in most auto parts stores. They are universal for most GM vehicles I believe.

Re: Hinge pins and bushings

Are these the door hinges? Do you just grind the top of the original pin off and do the bushings just slip in? Not trying to jack thread

Re: Hinge pins and bushings

Pretty much, I rebuilt mine but they still had play in them so I'm replacing them now.

No grinding. You turn the hinge upside down and press the old pins out. Then disassemble the hinge, install new bushings, and press the new pins in place. I've done a whole bunch of them and always get my kits from Classic Parts.

You can see the new pins and bushings in this picture.

Re: Hinge pins and bushings

Those look great! Yea after looking at my hinges I realized my ignorance as to thinking would have to grind on them. Is there any way to replace the rubber pieces that are in middle of hinge?
