292 to 350 swap

hey guys, im new to this whole restoration/ old truck thing. ive tried searching the forums and searching online for the info i was looking for but have come up short. i recently bought a '67 c10 long bed stepside w/ the small rear window, 292 inline six and 4 speed manual. The truck is from new mexico and is overall in good shape, minor surface rust and only a few spots rusted all the way threw. Im assuming that it has sat for around 6 years and the inside of the engine is rusted, cant remove the majority of cam followers due to rust and cant turn it over due to rust on the cam bearings and cam followers. i was wanting to build this engine but i dont know that it would be worth it. i know these trucks came with the option of a 350 and need to know if i would be able to get a junkyard motor as a temporary setup to get her running. would this be a direct drop in from the 292? would the transmission need moved at all or just need to move motor mounts and she'll bolt right up?
