Anyone know what this is?

Has anyone seen an oil pan like this with an extra hole on the driver side right under the dipstick curve? What year is it for etc...?

Re: Anyone know what this is?

It's not all that uncommon on late 80's up engines. Most likely this pan was for a van, heavy truck or marine/industral application. You can use it... you just need to block off that port.

I was thinking about using it, what's a good way to block that off?

It's the same exact size as the one that is on the truck already, standard size, except for the extra port on it. Guess I could weld it shut and use it.
