Re: rear coil over shocks

I'm not sure it thats possible w/o some major structural changes to the upper and lower shock mounts. The C10 rear shock mounts, upper and lower do not appear to be built for load bearing the truck...i.e. strong enough for bounce control but not for the entire weight of the truck.

Re: rear coil over shocks

I have never seen them on one of our trucks unless they were part of a four-link suspension...

Re: rear coil over shocks

Rear c/o's are doable. You need to get the drop brackets for the axle, and put a brace or brace/bridge to hold the top mounts. Usually the c/o would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 14-17"

This moved the mount point inward just a touch, or as much as you want if you have a narrowed rear end.
