I know what you mean I'm in the same boat. I've read a ton of stuff on here and it seems for everybody that likes one method there's somebody else who doesn't. I was going to go with por15 the stuff sounds incredible but after reading some worst case stories and with the higher cost I decided to try the elcheapo approach with the implement paint (which I found out about threw this site). and so far i'm really happy with it and if it holds up on the frame horn's i'll use it when I do my entire frame other wise i'll go por15

here's some pic's of my inner's after using the Majic implement paint sorry kinda grainy the light in my garage sucks and not much sunlight out side either. both inner's are shot and need replaced I was just doing this as an experiment and practice never used a spray gun before.

next I'm waiting for the 7 day curing to end and spray some implement clear on them and then start throwing a bunch of tools at them and see how it hold up :-)

Did you use a hardener and/or reducer?

Pics look pretty good. From initial glance, that looks pretty good for being your first time.
