Here's another GMC trying to hijack the thread! 3/4 ton longbed stepsidewith a V6. I plan to restore to daily driver. With that V6 motor, granny-gear 4 speed and a 4.10 rear axle, it may not like the highway. So what about a gear vendors overdrive? Anybody ever used one? Their website indicates I would effectively have a 3.08 in 4th gear. Wow.
