Forgive my ignorance.... But,
My heater core has a 5/8" fitting and a 3/4" fitting. Which one goes on top? I'm thinking my heater core was installed upside down. Thanks.

Re: Forgive my ignorance.... But,
I have always installed my heatercores with the 3/4 on top. That way my heater lines dont cross and I can tie them to the fenderwell with T-Clamps. Nice clean look.
However, I dont think there is a wrong way to install them. Either way will work.

Re: Forgive my ignorance.... But,
Should be hot water into core via smaller hose (5/8"), and a 3/4" upper return hose.
If your truck has different size hoses, just be sure the hot water goes into the core at the lower hose nipple.
