Cruise Question. Expert help needed.

I am wanting to add a cruise control unit to my 72 truck restoration project. I want to use the correct engage button for 1972. I think it was a dealer option that year. Anyway, which one?? Thanks for any help.

Joshua

I would not be the 3rd one...in 72 it was an under dash deal.
No clue as to which one of the first two though.

Joshua, I believe it is the first one, but I cannot be for certain. I have some literture around here somewhere that shows it and have one out of a 72 somewhere. I will try to find it.

724x4...in 72, it was not in the turn signal. I have dated material fro GM to the dealer ships showing the chainges in the 72 line up, and that is one of the few things listed in the trucks.
I'll see if I can't try to remember how to use this stupid scanner they got me last year....

And here is the cropped down version.
There were chianges in the cruise controll from year to year. I have other pages scanned showing (in detail) how it chainged from 70 to 71, including troubleshooting, schematics, and pages of stuff so booring it would put you to sleep.
