updates on my '72...

Hi Guys,

It's been a while since I've posted on here, but I wanted to show you how my '72 lwb is coming along.

I swapped out my ralleys for a set of steelies (vintiques 15 x 8's), with baby moons, put on my sport rear bumper, re-covered the seat, painted the cab floor, and she has new cab corners and rocker panels.

Here are a couple pics...

Looks good. Do you have more upgrades in the works or are you just going to drive it for a while...

Re: updates on my '72...

Looking good! I just bought everything needed to switch from my old farm bumper to a chrome one like yours. I plan on doing it this weekend.

Any tips or tricks? The main thing that worries me is getting 4 large bolts off that have been on there since before I was born

Good work so far. Yeah the wheels were a good choice.

Re: updates on my '72...

Thanks Guys!

No tricks about the bumper. ..pretty straight forward.

I've got a few more things coming up...tach dash, sill plates and weather stripping going in. And I am probably going to go with a crate motor backed by a 700r4...still lots to do.

Re: updates on my '72...

Thanks quick60!

I got these wheels through Summit Racing. I just took a look on their site and I didn't see any 8-lug versions though. But, I'm sure that if you keep on eye on this site, you'll see a set. They are 15 x 8 steelies, very similar to what would have been on the truck originally (only they probably would have been 15 x 6's).

Oh, I almost forgot, here is a pic of the interior. I am going to be installing the weather stripping on sill plates next

Re: updates on my '72...

What size tires are you running if you're still on the same setup? This is the first I've seen with white steelies/ baby moons and raised letters. Looks nice!
