68 swb C-10 Posi for rear?
Hi, Finally have the truck ready to paint and want to do one last thing to it. I need and want a posi unit for the stock 8.75 rear. What have you guys been putting in? And wheres the best place to get it? Detroit Locker? Eaton? Thanks, Mike

Any one of those companies you mentioned would be a good choice. The last lockers I used in a 4wd were detroits. I would like to try an Eaton unit the next time I have to put one in though. They are supposed to be quieter and work a little better on the street. You don't want to put a full locker in if your going to be on the street. You need a posi trac unit.

Eaton posi-traction unit. Best $400 bucks you'll ever spend on your truck.

I'd be certain that summit has them. You'll need to know which carrier and gears you have.
